David A. Blaine, MD has over 10 years of experience in Otolaryngology. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1987 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Doctorate of Medicine in 1991 from Wake Forest University, he completed his residency and fellowship training at the following facilities: The Virginia Commonwealth University and The Medical College of Virginia (Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Dept.)
Dr. Blaine is board certified and has been accepted at several professional boards/academies, including: The American Academy of Otolaryngology, The American Dermatology Association and The American College of Surgeons. Dr. Blaine practiced at two other facilities before he and his family relocated to West Virginia in January 2005 to serve the patients of Mt. State ENT. He practiced at ENT Consultants of Virginia from 1996 until 2001, at which time he opened a solo practice in Charlottesville. His areas of interest include voice disturbance, head and neck surgery, and infectious diseases such as otitis media and sinusitis.
